More Odd News From Detroit!

Wed Aug 20, 2008 9:47 pm

Just when you thought things in Motown couldn't get any odder!

Kim Worthy, Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney, who is leading the case against Mayor Kwami Kilpatrick, well WXYZ TV just announced that her home is in forclosure!

"WXYZ) Action News has learned that Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy's home is in foreclosure.

Worthy lives on the north side of Detroit. She issued a brief written statement that says: "After attempts to work something out with Countrywide I was unable to do so."

What kind of a statement does that make about our officials in office. If they can't manage their own finances, what the heck are they doing running our cities and counties?

Perhaps it simply illustrates that the intelligence, judgment, and reason required to manage one's own finances also steers one away from a career in politics.  scratchchin

Could we get that on a bumper sticker? I'd put it on my car.

A couple of congresspersons in California have their homes in foreclosures also.

Kim Worthy, Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney,

Once her political career is over, hopefully she won't go into estate planning.
