What Is A Good Investing Website?

Mon Aug 25, 2008 6:06 pm

Currently I use ShareBuilder for all of my investing but I really dont like them.
One thing is that I cant trade Bonds or preffered stocks only common stocks.
So I was wondering if anyone here can help me find and recommend another website to use and it must be able to trade prefered stocks and bonds are a plus. Also if it could have cheap prices to trade.

Thanks A380US

If it's in a custodial account, legally you're not supposed to touch it. It is under the control of the Custodian until you reach legal age.

Most Custodial account include a provision similar to the following " The custodian has the fiduciary responsibility to manage the money in a prudent fashion"

By allowing a minor to direct the investments in their own custodial account the custodian may well be in violation of this stipulation.
