Help With Medical Charter

Thu Aug 28, 2008 4:22 pm

I am not sure if this is the right forum, but can anyone assist me with this:

The sister of a very close friend of mine has been in the hospital in FL and has been told there is no more they can do and she is being sent to hospice where hopefully she will pass peacefully. Hospice will be in the midwest where her 6-year-old son and husband are.

I just found out they are planning to drive her there and it is like a 1,000-mile trip. I was wondering how one goes about applying for those charity medical charters. If anyone has any "real" info please PM me.

This may not be possible but I thought I would at least ask.

Thanks.
