Asif Ali Zardari has just been elected as the new president of Pakistan...
Good luck to the country- it needs more luck and brains than this currupt clan member of the Bhutto family most likely can deliver..

He's number two on the list..

The Pak army has no control over the tribal areas in NWFP.Maybe letting the US troops do the ground work would help.

That is a big no-no from Islamabad..we accept US money and arms but please no solders, since we esteem Pakistan perfectly capable to handle the problems internally.

You mean the children of that wonderful period the 80s? How in heck do you unscramble an egg so thoughtlessly beaten to a pulp and left to rot?

I know one country having a quiet snigger. With access from the S now getting more difficult, and access from China a bit difficult due to "a couple" of mountains, how do you get to Afghanistan? Why through the largest country around that part of the world, that is how.

Its Important that Democracy is strengthened & controls the Army in Pakistan....Its important for the Neighbourhood.
Trust me India & a few other nations are keeping a close watch on the nuclear stock out there & will take action appropriately if needed.
