Self Gloss: Career Change & New Frontiers

Wed Oct 15, 2008 12:22 am

Just something I need to get off my chest.....
So I am in the process of retiring from the Canadian Forces, when all is said and done I will have served 29 years and 5 months and a few days, but whose counting. Thursday will be my last day in uniform and Monday, I start my new life as a contractor working for NATO in OAKN (Kandahar) Afghanistan.
So bring on the normal GAFmeters and cargo bays.

Congrats! You're getting out just as I'm debating enlisting (AVN Tech).

It was a good trade for me, I've seen a lot of the world, and most of Canada because of it.
