Hahaha. My father was in the Swedish Infantry when this happened. He was very scared.  scared

Wow this is the first time I heard about that "fiasco"....

Great story but I bet it was a bit scary for those involved.

First time I've heard about it as well, but I'm looking forward to doing some more research on this incident. Just one more cold war naval incident to dig into. Thanks for the link  thumbsup

I never heard of this incident before, though I have ot ask is it the basis for the movie about a Russian sub running aground on/off of Cape Cod? it sounds very similar...
