French Spy-catchers Arrest 8 Trotskysts..

Tue Nov 11, 2008 9:27 am

..who have been (supposingly ) involved in sabotage on the French TGV network .
Since several months the French TGV rail- network is subject to increased sabotage from a group of so far unidentified people. Hundreds of thousands have been stranded throughout the last months because unexpected criminal sabotage damaged the rail and electricity-infrastructure.
Just two days ago some -well you can call them terrororists- put iron bars on the TGV railtrack close to the Southern-french city of Narbonne,in an attempt to have the train derailed.
Now the French security agencies including the interior-counter-terrorist unit of the
"Direction centrale du renseignement intérieur (DCRI)" have arrested eight people belonging to an extrem-left wing Trotzkist group in conjunction with the attacks.
Well done and put this scum in jail for the better part of their miserable lives!
In France Trotzkyst influence is still heavily present in trade-unions ..

It does not matter if these people are trotskysts or whatever else. They should be punished to the height of their actions, which I doubt will happen as French "justice" is very lax and lenient to criminals of all sorts.

Sabotage of TGV lines - the politically correct denomination is "acte de malveillance" - is awful. The TGVs, airlines and ships are worthy of all the respect they deserve. Sabotaging them should be heavily punished, although in France I doubt it will happen.

If these things happened in Dubai or Singapore it would be a different story...
There was a better way to fly it was called Concorde

Are you advocating that there should be a Dubai-style justice system in France?

I believe they will be punished and be made to stop these acts of sabotage. If the anti-terrorist police were smart enough to catch them in the first place, they'll have no problem keeping an eye on them (and their peers) when they have done their sentence.
I'll do my own airline. With Blackjack. And hookers. In fact, forget the airline.

I'm sorry, I must've missed the Trotskyist reference, I don't see it anywhere in the article....But it does say "It said the "anarcho-autonomous" movement that the suspects belonged to had been under surveillance for several months by domestic intelligence services and anti-terrorist police."

Please get your facts straight.

Thank goodness France is not like either one of these authoritarian regimes (Dubai, in particular)...

And you know that for a fact?
