I Challenge You To A Duel!

Thu Dec 04, 2008 2:03 am

Not really, but hey - isn't the history of duelling and the role it played in society interesting?

Does anyone know of any particularly bizarre duels? Particularly notorious duels? What is the silliest choice of weapon ever made?

Do you demand satisfaction? I do, so please tell me what you know about duels.

the best weapon is a laptop and free public wifi.

of great assistance ... digital cameras, incriminating photos, e-mails, or personal ads on select websites.

fill in the blanks with your imagination.

Does duelling still play any significant role in any 'modern' society?
