Next Round Champions LG, Your Team

Fri Dec 19, 2008 6:34 pm

Ill start out, I'll predict my Chelsea beats Juve of course.

Chelsea 1 Juve 0
Juve 1 Chelsea 1
(2-1 aggr)

A lot has gone wrong, there are already top flight teams playing each other in the 1st round! These could be final match-ups.

Liverpool-Real Madrid

Manchester United-Inter Milano( Mourinho's Inter career is about to come to a close) after this year.

Also, I see Barcelona going all the way to the finals.

I am with you on Chelsea. Also think Liverpool will take out Real Madrid. Inter and Man u should be a good matchup. And yes Barcelona looks like the team to beat.

Im very confident Arsenal will go through, good win at home first, maybe 2 or 3-0 then a draw away but if we have to win the 2nd leg im confident we can win. Didnt mind who the gunners were drawn against aslong as it wasnt Barcelona!.

Liverpool should be able to beat Real Madrid. Bayern should also have no problem against Sporting.

As for Chelsea, they'll lose against Juventus. With Scolari showing that he lacks authority in the team in the wake of the recent "mutiny" and, despite being second place in the Premiership, being a team that is slowly breaking up, Chelski should be easy to beat for Del Piero & Co.

Roma is a toughie, certainly better since the days of losing 7-1 to Man U. They gave Chelsea a very hard time in both of the matches. I wouldn't count them out and I'll even come out and say that they have a better chance of winning due to success and confidence building up in Serie A. It's still 2 months until the matches will be played so the momentum might change.

I'm cautiously confident of beating Roma, the problem is that we don't know which Arsenal
will turn up on the day. If it's the real Arsenal that we all know and love, we should be OK.
In Arsene we trust!!
