Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year

Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year

It has been a year of change and progression for Airliners.net, as always, and we feel that we should thank you, the members, for making the site a growing success. The entire moderating team would like to wish all the members a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Airliners.net is unique - this is because of the large, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and sometimes slightly rowdy membership that we have. Without you, Airliners.net would not be the site it is today. Whether you will be partying, relaxing or indulging in your favourite activity this Christmas, we hope you have a fantastic time.

We look forward to seeing you in 2009; there is another exciting year ahead of us. We hope that you, along with us, are excited for the opportunities that it may bring.

If anybody has any Christmas messages, personal or general, we would kindly ask that you confine them to this thread.

All the best,

Cheers mate, that's very kind of you indeed. So, just in case, what should I do if the parcel doesn't arrive safely? To whom should I address any compaint in such a frightfully unpleasant situation? The prospect of that happening is almost more than I can bear. No, it's no good, I'm going to........  faint

Wow, that was a close one.  relieved

I do hope such a dreadful misfortune should not befall me at such an otherwise joyful, happy and important time of year!  Big grin

Oh, and Merry Christmas.

Yeah I know, but then if you're Jewish I expect you to wish me a happy Hannukah, like when it's Orthodox Christmas I shall congratulate everyone on that.

Nonetheless, all seasonal greetings and nice wishes are gratefully received! Happy Christmas everyone, happy Hannukah to all the world's Jews, and best wishes to all for whatever occasion you are celebrating.

Unbelievable!

Another year gone. I'm sure as you get older the years go faster. Before I know it Ill be in a rocking chair with the pipe and slippers telling the Grand-kids of the days we flew 787's and A350's. Wow!

Here's wishing a Merry Christmas to everyone and much gratitude to the guy who invented elasticated expandable trousers(or pants as they are know to our friends in America). I know Ill be needing my pair this Christmas.

Cheers  champagne

:D

Yep that's true. Actually come to think of it rocking chairs will probably be banned because of health and safety rules. And the tobacco would probably cost the earth due to tax anyway!

Plus the Government would probably be watching form the Government enforced camera you had to have installed in your home.  Wow!

Merry Christmas Everyone.

Oh my word, but yes! And there will be no sitting by the fire either - no way. It's far too dangerous. Moreover, there will be no kids there to bore with stories of the old days as it will probably be illegal for any man, particularly old, to be left unsupervised with them. Too dangerous, see?

Quoting SpeedBirdA380 (Reply 22):

At this point I must disagree - by then, they will no doubt be able to see directly into your mind and read your thoughts, via a tiny chip implanted in your brain which constantly beams information to a central processing and cencorship headquarters. Therefore, there will be no need for cameras.

Anyway, in the mean time, try not to singe your beard on that log fire, or kill yourself in a rocking chair accident caused by over-vigorous rocking, or choke on a mince pie. In fact, stay inside your cotton wool-lined protective box and do nothing, speak to nobody and view everything and everyone with extremely deep suspicion!

Man, a little Christmas joy can be an extremely dangerous thing!  old

Well, where I am it is the Christmas Season and I did not say it is Christmas today, but it is Christmas Time! . And to all of those celebrating Hanukkah have a good one.

But please lets drop the Happy Holidays and get back to the Merry Christmas!!!! At least in the places where the majority celebrate Christmas.

And, here's hoping good wishes to everyone for the upcoming New Year.

BTW, to whomever mentoned "I'm sure as you get older the years go faster.", they do and there's mathematical reason for this. Again, Merry Christmas....regards...jack

happy holidays and thank you to all airline and airport personnel for your dedication and patience with jet-lagged pax who have no idea of how difficult of how hard your jobs actually are(myself included) this poem is for you:
they arrive in fives they arrive in dozens
aunts,sisters,uncles,cousins
you greet them with a friendly smile
they stomp and snort all the while
they say that their plane is late
but they are at the wrong dang gate
the snow comes in they start to howl
for vouchers 'n' upgrades they do prowl
they do not know what they face
'cause they are in santa's airspace.

happy holidays and thank you for your fantastic job!!
