Modern "Music" is mostly dead. No one has soul these days. It's all "what will sell". It's rather telling of my generation methinks...
Perhaps, but with the internet and ability for artists to publish their music cheaply on the web it is possible for artists who still care about the music to get their music out there to an audience.
I haven't listened to the radio for almost 4yrs and there is still plenty to keep me occupied. I listen to podcasts and burn CDs to listen to in the car. Today's popular music is frankly horrible and has been for some time.
Most of the popular music out there is formulaic shite and I can't stand listening to it. Fortunately my wife likes the music I listen
