Oh yeah, we know how to party. Pity I am not in Sydney this year. Since we are the first to celebrate (well actually New Zealand, but they are welcoming in year 1954) I would like to say Happy New Year to all.  duck

Hope Smith and co had their earplugs in tonight as they looked to have celebrated well last night.

Yep well into 2009 here. Already written a cheque dated 2009.

For those curious, so far 2009 is OK!! No major differences noted as yet.

Happy new year when you catch up. I guess the Kiwis are close to sun-up.

Less than 10 hours here in the East cost of the U.S.

For any Americans who are US football fans, you may like this one: Heard that the people running the ceremony at Times' Sqare have asked Braylon Edwards of the Browns to participate in the celebration-they feel he's the best one to drop the ball at midnight.  Big grin

Still 3 hours and some change to go here in MCO, I already heard some of my brother's neighbors set off some fireworks. Is that legal around here? I know in some places it's not allowed within the city limits or certain counties, not that the legality of it ever stopped a lot of people...

4 hours and 52 minutes to go here in California. I wish all my fellow Airliners.net brothers and sisters all over this world an epic, prosperous and peaceful New Years!!!! 8 years ago I was in Melbourne, Australia enjoying the first days of summer instead of the first days of winter like we are experiencing here in the US right now. Wish I was there now...........
