Absolutely.
It's no different than going to a hockey game or NASCAR race and getting injured from a car accident or hockey puck.
Why should it be any different in this case?

The story of Brittanie Cecil notwithstanding, are lawsuits resulting in injury (not death like her case) from sporting events won with frequency or is the disclaimer on the back of tickets just a requirement from promoters/venues?

I remember when attending the F1 races in the 90's in Argentina that on the back of the ticket there was a disclaimer stating that if you got injured due to anythign related to the race they were not responsable.
i guess they'll have to start writing something like that in every strip club

Will the payment be made in singles?

I don't think these things are won that often. Not only is there often a disclaimer, but there are broadcasted warnings.

Oh,and I love this quote:
"Evans says he doesn't normally frequent strip clubs, but made an exception when a cousin visited."

I wasn't aware of that.
I don't normally frequent strip clubs, but made I've made exceptions when my cousin is in town.

Actually, wouldn't he have more of a case if he did frequent strip clubs more often? His defense could show that despite his multiple visits to titty bars, only this one resulted in injury and upholding their claim that it was indeed a hazardous area.

I believe that the tickets associated with those events state that the team/league is not responsible for injuries ocurring due to those sort of things. I know baseball tickets say that - if you get struck by a foul ball and are injured, you can't sue the team.

Did anyone inquire if the damage to Yusuf's nose was caused by.....errrr....sniffing the missile? I'll just bet he put a liplock on it and ripped it off the poor girl's foot.

Ok, so using this man's logic, people could sue as well for getting an STD from a stripper?

Right...  Yeah sure
