Worse Than Chicken-Fried Bacon. Way Worse.

Thu Jan 29, 2009 8:50 am

A slice in a sandwich would probably be good (and it looks like you can get enough slices out of a roll that a sandwich wouldn't have many more calories or fat than a typical fast food burger - not that that's healthy either, but you get the point.) Eating the whole roll, though, would be suicide. Maybe that guy on Man v. Food should try it?

Hmmm might be a challenge but I'm sure I could do it over a few weeks.  Smile

Wow I could go a slice or two of that!

Some years back when the Hard Rock Cafe was still open in Cape Town I had a bacon burger... the entire patty was made of bacon, it was fabulous!
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

My friends and I have been wanting to try this. My buddy, Gerry, is making one this Sunday for the Superbowl.

You'll need a bucket of Lipitor after eating this thing.

With all that bacon I can't help to think about Bob and Doug McKenzie eh?

That sounds great. Usually Hard Rock's doesn't have that great of food, but that sounds like a real winner. I would have ordered that.

Awesome...I'd love to hear how it works out, both in taste and the next day. Big grin

I'm thinking that more than a bite or two of this would make me a VERY sad boy the next day. I'm imagining that all parts of my GI tract would go on strike/openly rebel.

I'm also thinking that Hamas might want to consider this as a possible addition to their arsenal in their war against Israel. Then again, one of Israel's largest exports is pigs/pork, so they might be able to out-do Hamas on that front...

OK, I'm getting a mental image of a bunch of Jews and Muslims running for cover under a rain of howitzer fire...of Bacon Explosion!  rotfl

I'd go for one slice, maybe even two, but that's it.

It was great! No trouble the next day either, so far!
