Seeking Aero Job In Germany!

Sat Feb 14, 2009 6:18 pm

Hey guys,

I wasn't sure where to post this but here it goes.

For the last year, I have been working at the German Aerospace Center as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter. Due to lack of funding, my contract will not be extended thus after march, I will be jobless. So I am posting this just to ask you guys who work in Germany and work in the Aerospace industry if there are any job possibilities? Or if anyone could give me tips on how to apply for jobs, it would be greatly appreciated.

just to say, I'm an aerospace engineer with a double bachelors in mechanical and aerospace engineering from the University of California, Irvine. Furthermore, I received a masters degree from Purdue University in Aeronautical engineering.

again, if anyone knows about any aero job possibilites, please message me! We can discuss my abilities in private.

For the moderator, I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum. I just had no idea.

Thanks,

atcanobbio

Try the site of Diehl-Gruppe in Nuremberg.
They are a big defense-contractor and do have tons of opening in technical and aéronautical disciplines.Although not a manufacturer of aircraft, they have bought from EADS one manufacturing plant, design their own Drones and military unmanned vehicles -an extremely versatile group with solid financial basis and exciting areas of activity.

A job application consists of
- cover letter
- cv
- certificates incl. a job reference
- not required but always very helpful: a picture
