It sounds like this girl was a victim of a very serious judicial crime. She sounds like a regular kid who got victimized by some kind of crazy crime ring of adults (??). Not her fault.
I would agree. But it is her fault for posting something stupid on her MySpace page. The worst thing she could have done was taken it down and pay a small fine, but to send her to jail for three months?! I am appalled!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope the girl sues the judge and the school district for this. They just wrecked this girl's life for nothing. Fire that damn teacher!

which hardly constitutes a hanging offence. At worst she should have been told off and told to remove it. Why on earth did it get anywhere near a court room?
I agree. And I want to know how this got to a courtroom in the first place.
On a side note, I have done something like this, except I did it to a student. Wrote a very immature essay about that student, but without naming anyone. The worst I got was in school suspension for one day. I took the ISS, but all I'll say that it was the most stupidest thing Ive done in school, at the same time it was hilarious!
Kids can be stupid (like I was....), adults just need to see past the humor and grow some brass balls. Kids are kids.
