Well I decided to finally make a brief trek to the land of my Mum's parents - yes Eire. I'm heading there in June for a brief visit - just enough to get a taste. I am also booked on 1 leg on Aer Lingus - I've always wanted to fly the big green plane with the Shamrock! Woohoo - another item to cross off my list.
I am on Aer Lingus 523 on June 19 from Paris arriving into DUB 1450. June 20 I am doing a Paddywagon tour of the south for 3 days. June 23 I am doing a day trip with Paddywagon up to Northern Ireland (my grandparents were from Belfast). I depart June 24 to New York.
So yes - a very brief visit but I do get to see a bit of Dublin on June 19 once I arrive for the afternoon and evening. I'm staying at the Ripley Court (wanted something local and near the bus).
What I'm wondering from you lot is what I should take in. I know there are heaps of sites on recommended tours and things to do in DUB but I would rather hear a suggestion from one of you locals. And I know you are on here - man alive the Irish are hot on the topic in the Pink thread! LOL
