Feel Good Songs

Mon Aug 10, 2009 2:19 pm

Rules:

  • It must put a smile on all people's faces, no matter what mood they're in.

  • It can be as cheesy as you like.

  • You must post a link.

This song always puts a smile on my face and it's as cheesy as they come!

Its a Thai song and it was big when I was travelling over there:

Oh, geez. Where to start with this one...

Four of mine are:

All Out Of Love by Air Supply or Soluna
Copacabana by Barry Manilow
Steal My Sunshine by Len
Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-A-Lot

That last one, I don't even need to hear the whole song. Just the beginning. The first one? Yes, to me, that is a feel good song.

Alas, there isn't a decent video of 'Reach' by S Club 7 on YouTube, but it satisfies the cheesy feel-good song criteria. It might well put a frown on the faces of those who like slightly deeper or darker music, but it's best not taken too seriously!

Here's the ultimate cheesy feel-good song... with cheesy video as well.

I think this song was used in a TV commercial.

I'll throw in this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eplbDbp6XJQ

Although that's a cover version, I think it raises the "cheesy, feel-good" factor over the original by just the right amount. Big grin

can't help but like the new frankmusik tune "confusion girl"

Everything I like in music ISN'T in this song, but hey, maybe its something to do with the fact that Holly Valance is in the video!

964Eagle and Heart constantly play this atm.

Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith!

That lead in to the vocals, no matter where I am or how I feel, just makes me feel great inside.

Maui Girl
my feel good song for this thread

Late Aunty Genoa Keawe with her musicians and hula dancers reminding me of so many good moments on the islands.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHyX81WvIS0

The beautiful hula dancers are for all the men on the forum.
 cheerful   yes

Aunty Genoa was a landmark. She really had the spirit of the Hawaiian Islands.
She used to perform weekly at the Marriott Waikiki Beach Resort rain or shine until she passed away at the age of 90 in 2008.
Never a dull moment.

RIP Aunty  angel

You may be right.
The Super Paradise Beach in Mykonos looks just like place in the video. Perhaps they shot in both places.

There was no mention of JMK in Wikipedia's write-up of the video.
