Shark Tank-Dragon's Den

Wed Sep 09, 2009 11:44 pm

Anybody watch this new show on ABC in the states called 'Shark Tank'?....It's the American version of Dragon's Den.

I enjoy watching these shows to see people's clever Ideas.

Anyone else watch these shows?

P.S. Dragon's Den is much better.

I haven't seen it, but two of the Sharks are Canadians from our Dragons' Den - Robert Herjavic and Kevin O'Leary.

I'd imagine it would be pretty similar?

I'm going to check it out next week.

I used to watch Dragon's Den and have seen a few episodes of the Shark Tank. IMO the Dragon's Den was much better. Arlene, Jim and Brett were better than the current sharks.

Some of the ideas were fantastic, some comical and some absolutely daft. Great entertainment.

You are talking about the Canadian version I assume.

The bald guy on Shark Tank, I think he's a Canadian fellow, I gotta say...I think he's a jerk.

Yes. Though the show was originally produced by the BBC I think.

Yes, Kevin O'Leary and Robert Herjevac are both Canadians. KOL is a nasty guy.

I've come to love Kevin O'Leary because he never hides his true intentions, "how can I make more money?"

Haven't caught Shark Tank yet, I should set my PVR for it this weekend.

I just saw it on ABC and I quite liked it.

It's isn't quite as good as Dragon's Den, but still quite entertaining.

I think I will keep watching...
