NFL Week 7 Thread

Sun Oct 25, 2009 5:01 pm

Week 7.

Bengals play Chicago at 4:15.
Giants play the Cardinals tonight on Sunday Night Football.

Both teams are at home, and both teams need to bounce back after their disgusting losses last week (although I did hear somewhere that the officiating crew for that game has been suspended; not sure if it's true and I also doubt it would have made a difference in the outcome).

I hope I get to watch 3 wins today: Bengals at 4:15 and then the New York Giants and New York Yankees at 8:00.  biggrin

We don't have a pro football team in Cleveland, so I have no comment....

Well I'd expect the Giants to win against Arizona, as for me I'm a Redskin through and through. We've got the Eagles on Monday and I'm not too sure what to expect, we are 2-4-0 at the minute and given how we have played so far this season and in the pre season I'm kinda expecting a loss.

I don't know what's been going on with Washington over the past few seasons but we are by far one of the worst performing teams in the NFL. It's a shame because we are better than that and need to turn things around quickly.

I feel real bad for Steve Spagnuolo of the Rams. He was a top defensive coordinator (for the Giants), he took the head coaching job for the Rams and that team is the worst in the NFL.

Quoting Longhornmaniac (Reply 5):
domination

Domination more appropriately refers to the Bengals over the Bears today, at 45-10.  biggrin

Now for the Arizona Cardinals - New York Giants game.

Ced hardly had to do anything. You could drive a truck through those holes. The Bears put on a clinic of how not to play the Tampa 2.

It's bad for you if the Saints are ahead.
It's REALLY bad for you when you piss away a 3 touchdown lead!

- I feel your pain, the Colts had several seasons like that  white

- Da Bears should have to walk home to Chicago after that game.

- The Colts are still undefeated and I believe their next three games are at home.

Well...

There is apparently some video of a Mack truck slamming into a solid concrete barrier at about 50 mph and getting totalled, while the wall only moves about a few feet if that...

The Mack truck represents the Vikings with Adrian Peterson behind the wheel and Brett Favre riding shotgun... They're 6-0 coming into this week, so naturally they'd be the ones with momentum...

The barrier... well I think yinz guys can take a wild guess at that one!  Wink

here's the video:
