Wed Nov 25, 2009 8:57 pm

Its been a year since 26/11.It was another terror strike against India,Only this time it attacked Tourists/Jews abong Indians.
The Anger is still prevalent out here.

The city of Mumbai & its spirit succeeded, but the wounds & hurt remains.

Justice needs to be done.

Sadly, the anniversary of these obscene terror events seems to be getting very little attention in the USA media today. This was an attack that was the equal of 9/11, especially as to India and Israel. Today (26th) is a major holiday in the USA, Thanksgiving, so perhaps the USA based media doesn't want to talk much about it. They would rather blab on about the day, about the big shopping day the next day (for Christmas) or trivial stories about turkeys.

There was a piece yesterday on one of the networks about a now 3 year old Jewish child who survived the attack on the Jewish center, his parents were murdered in the attack. He now lives in Israel, but what about an article about the 100's of Indians murdered and injured, the affect on that city and country? This was a huge attack, one that should get a lot more media attention to remind all of the world of the still huge risks of terrorism.

We remember Hawk .... what we want now is justice . When Pak hangs the perpetrators in public it may bring some closure. I hope it is as simple as that , but something tells we it is not.

Pak took 364 days to frame charges against the accused, inspite of proof provided.
On the issue....
The day was honoured with candle light vigil & homage to the people who sacrificed a lot.

The NSG/MARCOS teams got a lot of praise.

We need to build on our defences against these terror networks.
Lots of debates on TV on the year gone by.
