Countries Where A Per Diem Is Standard

Fri Nov 27, 2009 11:29 am

Guys,

Hope someone can help me on this one. I'm doing some research for work and need to try and find out which countries have Per Diems as standard for their employees. I know for example that travellers from Sweden and Germany do receive one, but the area I don't know much about is South America. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Czech republic and Slovakia have per diem for business trips as well. It depends on the destination and time spent away from the employee's base. Reduced amount kicks in for trips longer that 5 hours, over 13 hours the full daily rate is paid.
