A Woman Scorned..........

Fri Jan 22, 2010 10:58 pm

Apparently, Charles E. Phillips — president and director of the tech conglomerate Oracle Corporation and a member of Obama's Economic Recovery Advisory Board had a lover. BTW he is also married and an Oracle newsletter from 2006, Phillips was described as an ex-marine and "family man" who has a wife and 10-year-old son.

This has nothing to do with his conection to the Big O Administration.

Phillips said "I had an 8-and-a-half-year serious relationship with YaVaughnie Wilkins. The relationship with Ms. Wilkins has since ended, and we both wish each other well,"

It does not seem Ms. Wilkins is really "wishing him well" as he thought.

She has taken out 5 billboards, 3 in NYC, and one each in ATL and SFO with a picture of the two lovers and says; "You are my soulmate forever, Charles & YaVaughnie."

Maybe not now................

What's he doing there, trying to find clients for a lawsuit against the rescue workers? I'd be shocked if he gets his hands dirty.

As a Democrat, there will be no ramifications whatsoever. If he had been a Republican there would have been calls for his execution.

The two billboards in Atlanta has been taken down:

Atlanta billboard outing cheating Oracle exec taken down

Quote:
Two billboards calling an Oracle exec the eternal soul mate of a woman who is not his wife have been taken down in Atlanta.

One of the billboards at the corner of North Avenue and Piedmont Avenue was up most of the week and taken down sometime between Thursday evening and Friday morning.

They are two of many in New York City................

A second Atlanta-area billboard was up most of the week at Camp Creek Parkway and Washington Road, in East Point near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

It, too, was blank on Friday.

That's some expensive payback.

This is old news at Oracle. Co-founder, egomaniac and CEO Larry Ellison is much better known (especially throughout Northern California) for his rampant philandering which resulted in three divorces before his most recent marriage. Just another reminder to any woman marrying these power players that expecting exclusivity is downright foolhardy.

Um... which party has "family values" as part of its platform and a tight relationship with religious "conservatives"?

The Democratic platform is that the government should stay out of bedrooms. So yes, there is a double-standard on the issue and that is because the GOP earned it.

Wait - isn't it illegal to post someone else's picture without his prior approval? Advertising companies in Switzerland would never post something like that. The lawsuit that would ensue could very well shut down the advertising company.

Yes, the GOP is generally considered a party that supports family values. When a Repub is caught is such situations they are "normally" out of office in the next election, or they resign. Not always, but at a higher percentage than Dems who get caught in such situations, Some Dems do suffer from their actions too, like John Edwards.

In the US, if it is a public figuer, then most photos are in the public domain. In this case, it appears to be a photo from Ms. YaVaughnie Wilkins's personal "collection", but she is also the one who bought the billboards.

In fact, most do. But interestingly, I see fewer such scandals from that side of the aisle. Hmmm... Shakespeare once wrote something about protesting too much.

Remember that politicians are supposed to be our employees. Would you rather have employees that have morals, and are held accountable to them, or employees who have no morals and get away with most things?

He was/is a member of Obama's Economic Recovery Advisory Board. What does that prove what party he belongs to? Why does that matter? That was my origional thought: Why does it matter what party he belongs to? I mean, we all know KC hates Dems and Obama; is this just another shot at "I hate Obama/Dems and here is another way I can show it?" If not, why does it matter? If a murder suspect were caught, would you bring up his/her voting record? I am just trying to understand the angle being on an advisory board has to do with having an affair.

Ease up on the personal attacks, my friend. You, nor no one else "know KC hates Dems and Obama". I do not hate them, I strongly disagree with them. Do you know the difference?

Apparently not.

It is because of personal smears from the extreme left where you are, that accusing people of "hate" being "racists", or calling them names like "Nazis", simply because others disagree with your liberal opinions. You liberals and socialists only have two weapons to use against everyone who opposes your twisted points of view of government provided cradle to grave care. Those weapons are name calling and blame Bush. That is the best you can do.

I do not personally know Obama, he is probibly a very likable guy, most politicians are. I happen to think he is driving the US down to bankruptcy, forcing our grandchildren top pay for his bills. I will not stand by doing nothing while he and Pelosi and Reid ruin this great country.

All actions, including government actions have consquences, you libs need to understand that, grow up, and take responsibility for your own actions instead of kicking those responsibilities onto kids who are currently 1 to 10 years old.

It is time you guys stood up and became men, instead of boiled and soggy egg noodles.

When did this topic suddenly degrade from one about a lying cheat of a husband getting his comeuppance to one of Democrat?Republican bashing?

It's not about his political leanings, people, it's about the fact that he couldn't keep it in his pants...and his mistress didn't take the breakup well.

Nah. There were a lot of jokes about the Republican in the airport men's room, but he's still alive and serving. The SC Governor heading to Argentina for a little bit of foreign stuff is still in office - but his wife is going to have his testicles bronzed for earrings. And Edwards was in a contest with Tiger today on TV for who is the biggest shit. I think Edwards won.

Quoting Seb146 (Reply 20):

That part isn't a problems for me - if he can get the job done. I could care less about Nixon and the bugging of the Watergate, or Clinton's Zippergate. It's how the country goes when they are in office that counts. And if an administration can get some performers (outside of the bedroom) then I can live with that.

As for the billboards - LMAO! A good lesson for those who are thinking of spraying WD40 on their zippers.
