Amazon Kindle

Fri Mar 19, 2010 6:31 am

Does anyone use this product and is there anything comparable on the market? I intend to use it primarily for reading novels. I don't own the Kindle device, just plan to download via Kindle for PC

Any comments or alternative recommendations?

I bought one a few months ago and I like it. One of the big advantages is that the display is not backlit and uses very little power. You also dont need a computer because it downloads over the cell network. One thing I dont like is having to pay a small ammount for books that US users get for free. One bit of advice: buy an Amazon giftcard otherwise your credit card will cop numerous small foreign transactions.
