Nascar Opens A Hall Of Fame

Wed May 12, 2010 12:02 am

Im suprised it took this long to open a hall of fame for NASCAR. The first inductees include Richard Petty, Bill France Sr and Jr, Junior Johnson, and Dale Earnhardt.

From what I've seen it looks like it's going to be an amazing place to visit with all the hands on activities. As a Nascar fan I'm very much looking forward to paying a visit to Charlotte for it.

I was going to go on opening day but they want $20 to visit. I must say that the building is large and fits in well with the architecture of Charlotte.

Looks like a great place & I can't wait to visit the next time I'm in Charlotte. It was a bit disappointing to not see David Pearson in the first class, but hopefully he gets in next year...I think the fans may get a movement going to get him in after he was snubbed in their eyes this year.
