All silliness aside, complacency kills. When ever we get hit by rockets over here in Iraq, yes it is a pain in the ass to go to the bunker, and no I don't go unless they start hitting close to me, that is when I take cover. Do I accept that my stupidity may one day get me killed or maimed, yes! Am I smart for this? probably not. But I also have great SA
You can get killed, mowing your lawn or walking to the store, and I accept that, but there are those that are more cautious. If you ask yourself, "why does the government keep putting out these warnings"? Accept that there are people that care more about their safety, and the safety of their loved ones, than you may? Wandering aimlessly is no way to be, and there are many that have been killed or injured, that had the attitude,"it will never happen to me"!
Personally, it does not bother me when they put out these warnings, because they just remind me of the possible danger, which heightens my awareness, do they keep me from traveling? No!
Have you ever thought that there could be non-specific intel that there was an impending attack, and by making this public, the terrorists had to change their plans now that it was public? The problem with Anti-terrorism is the safer they keep us, the less attention they get, we mostly hear about their failures when an attack happens and lives were lost.
Would you rather have these warnings and nothing happpen, or only hear about them after hundreds of lives are lost?
Stay Safe Everyone!
