Does American football count?

If so, then:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whNOfvyPpaM

"San Diego Super Chargers." It's a little dated, but a classic. A more contemporary Chargers anthem was done by local alternative rock band P.O.D.-

Chicago Bears' fight song:

Bear down, Chicago Bears, make every play clear the way to victory;
Bear down, Chicago Bears, put up a fight with a might so fearlessly.
We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation with your T-formation.
Bear down, Chicago Bears, and let them know why you're wearing the crown.
You're the pride and joy of Illinois, Chicago Bears, bear down.

Superbowl Shuffle
Chorus
We are the Bears Shufflin' Crew
Shufflin' on down, doin' it for you.
We're so bad we know we're good.
Blowin' your mind like we knew we would.
You know we're just struttin' for fun
Struttin' our stuff for everyone.
We're not here to start no trouble.
We're just here to do the Super Bowl Shuffle.
Walter Payton
Well, they call me Sweetness,
And I like to dance.
Runnin' the ball is like makin' romance.
We've had the goal since training camp
To give Chicago a Super Bowl chance.
And we're not doin' this
Because we're greedy.
The Bears are doin' it to feed the needy.
We didn't come here to look for trouble,
We just came here to do
The Super Bowl Shuffle.
Willie Gault
This is Speedy Willie, and I'm world class.
I like runnin' but i love to get the pass.
I practice all day and dance all night,
I got to get ready for the Sunday fight.
Now I'm as smooth as a chocolate swirl,
I dance a little funky, so watch me girl.
There's not one here that does it like me,
My Super Bowl Shuffle will set you free.
Mike Singletary
I'm Samurai Mike I stop'em cold.
Part of the defense, big and bold,
I've been jammin' for quite a while,
Doin' what's right and settin' the style,
Give me a chance, I'll rock you good,
Nobody messin' in my neighborhood.
I didn't come here lookin' for trouble,
I just came to do The Super Bowl Shuffle
(Repeat Chorus)
Jim McMahon
I'm the punky QB, known as McMahon.
When I hit the turf, I've got no plan.
I just throw my body all over the field.
I can't dance, but I can throw the pill.
I motivate the cats, I like to tease.
I play so cool, I aim to please.
That's why you all got here on the double
To catch me doin' the Super Bowl Shuffle.
Otis Wilson
I'm mama's boy Otis, one of a kind.
The ladies all love me
For my body and my mind.
I'm slick on the floor as I can be
But ain't no sucker gonna get past me.
Some guys are jealous
Of my style and class,
That's why some end up on their -,
I didn't come here lookin' for trouble,
I just get down to The Super Bowl Shuffle.
Steve Fuller
They say Jimbo is our man.
If Jimmy can't do it, I sure can.
This is Steve, and it's no wonder
I run like lightnin', pass like thunder.
So bring on Atlanta, bring on Dallas,
This is for Mike and Papa Bear Halas.
I'm not here to feather his ruffle,
I just came here to do
The Super Bowl Shuffle.
Mike Richardson
I'm L.A. Mike, and I play it cool.
They don't sneak by me 'cause I'm no fool.
I fly on the field and get on down.
Everybody knows I don't mess around.
I can break'em, shake'em,
Any time of day.
I like to steal it and make 'em pay,
So please don't try to beat my hustle
'Cause I'm just here to do
The Super Bowl Shuffle.
(Repeat Chorus)
Richard Dent
The sackman's comin', I'm your man Dent.
if the quarterback's slow,
He's gonna get bent.
We stop the run, we stop the pass,
I like to dump guys on their -.
We love to play for the world's best fans,
You better start makin'
Your Super Bowl plans.
But don't get ready or go to any trouble
Unless you practice
The Super Bowl Shuffle.
Gary Fencik
It's Gary here, and I'm Mr.Clean.
They call me "hit man,"
Don't know what they mean.
They throw it long and watch me run,
I'm on my man, one-on-one.
Buddy's guys cover it down to the bone,
That's why they call us the 46 zone.
Come on everybody let's scream and yell,
We're goin' to do the Shuffle,
Then ring your bell.
William Perry
You're lookin' at the Fridge,
I'm the rookie.
I may be large, but I'm no dumb cookie.
You've seen me hit, you've seen me run,
When I get the pass, we'll have more fun.
I can dance, you will see
The others, they all learn from me.
I didn't come here lookin' for trouble,
I just came here to do
The Super Bowl Shuffle.
(Repeat Chorus)
Ain't I a stinker?

Here we go!
Here we go!
Here we go, Steelers, here we go!
Pittsburgh's goin' to the Super Bowl!
(Here we go) Cheer the Steelers, the black and the gold.
The town of Pittsburgh's heart and soul.
The Steeler nation has the best fans 'cuz we're from Pittsburgh, the 6 time Super Bowl champs!

I can't find the rest of the 2010 version. My favorite one tho is from 2005: "this is the year we get that one for the thumb!"

Fly Eagles Fly -- yeah I don't remember the rest of that one, yet...

This thread sucks until now...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovre3NHM2yw

Sing along!

Fight Broncos celebrate the orange and blue
Boise will stand and cheer for you
Fight for distinction and our alma mater
bravely defending BSU
Fight on Courageously for Boise State
Success and Honor make her great (B S U)
Boise's proud tradition, heads up competition
Glory for B - S - U!
Go! Orange! Go Big Blue!
Fight! Fight! B-S-U!

There, now this thread's a great thread!

Actually here are my two favorite fight songs that aren't from Boise State...

Of course... Notre Dame

Florida State War Chant...

WVU Fight Song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8g45qcbvFeo

It's West Virginia, it's West Virginia,
The pride of every Mountaineer,
Come on you old grads, join with us young lads.
It's West Virginia now we cheer!
Rah! Rah! Rah!
Now is the time boys to make a big noise.
No matter what the people say,
For there is naught to fear, the gang's all here,
So hail West Virginia, hail.

Also a nice bar song sung (and played by the band at pre-game) at every game as well...

Well yeah, they're not the same, but they have a lot of similarities.. almost the exact same chord progression throughout. I'm not knocking it by any measure, a lot of College fight songs sound almost exactly the same, I listed those two because, like I say, they're among my favorite.

Let's not forget the theme songs of the networks that broadcast football:

CBS-

"First on the Field": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7D0adfcS928

NBC-

FOX-

The first song played is "Wildcat Victory", which is our fight song. The second song, in which you see the fan participation, is the "Wabash Cannonball."

Hail Purdue

First Verse:
To Your Call Once More We Rally;
Alma Mater Hear Our Praise.
Where The Wabash Spreads Its Valley;
Filled With Joy Our Voices Raise.
From The Skies In Swelling Echoes
Come The Cheers That Tell The Tale
Of Your Vict'ries And Your Heros,
Hail Purdue! We Sing All Hail!

Chorus:
Hail, Hail To Old Purdue!
All Hail To Our Old Gold And Black!
Hail, Hail To Old Purdue!
Our Friendship May She Never Lack.
Ever Grateful, Ever True,
Thus We Raise Our Song Anew; (Fire Up! as chanted by the band, or Boiler Up! by the fans)
Of The Days We've Spent With You,
All Hail Our Own Purdue!

Second Verse:
When In After Years We're Turning,
Alma Mater, Back To You.
May Our Hearts With Love Be Yearning
For The Scenes Of Old Purdue.
Back Among Your Pathways Winding
Let Us Seek What Lies Before;
Fondest Hopes And Aims E'er Finding,
While We Sing Of Days Of Yore.

The good football songs, or sports songs in general, come from Universities, where the fans have a greater connection to the team then geographic accident as you find in professional sports.

That said, the second greatest football fight song...

Bear down, Chicago Bears, make every play clear the way to victory;
Bear down, Chicago Bears, put up a fight with a might so fearlessly.
We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation with your T-formation.
Bear down, Chicago Bears, and let them know why you're wearing the crown.

From Proper Football

My father said to me one day "is it red or blue for you?"
and if it's red you're out the door and I won't see you no more
and then one Saturday afternoon he took me to Moss Side
He said "my son your time has come and this is a lesson in pride"
You see the scum you never run
You stand and fight your ground
and when you've won on derby day
You're sure to hear this sound
Hark now hear
The City sing
United ran away
And we will fight for ever more
Because of Derby day

Cleaned this one up a bit.

They say that Old Trafford's a wonderful place
But the players who play there are a ******* disgrace
They have half backs and full backs and forwards too
With their hands down their pants they have **** all to do
The Stretford End sing the Stretford End shout
The songs that they sing they know **** all about
But we all agree where those ******* should be
Shovelling **** on the Isle of Capri
Toodalloo **** Man U toodalloo **** Man U

Blue Moon
You saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member - Groucho Marx

"On the ball, City", described as the oldest football song still in use.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwich_City_F.C.#Supporters

Kick it off, throw it in, have a little scrimmage,
Keep it low, a splendid rush, bravo, win or die;
On the ball, City, never mind the danger,
Steady on, now's your chance,
Hurrah! We've scored a goal.
City!, City!, City!

The Giants don't have an official fight song (or at least one I could find). I guess the Giants have never bought into that sort of stuff (cheerleaders, fight songs, etc.)

The Cincinnati Bungles, errr I mean, Cincinnati Bengals have a fight song but it's really stupid IMO. Their theme song is "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N' Roses (their stadium, besides being known as Paul Brown Stadium is also known as "The Jungle" by us fans).
