Interesting to see in the latest wikileaks that the Burmese Junta were considering buying MU for $1billion because the CiC's grandson was a MU fan.

Given the present low esteem in which the present ownership is held, basically because they put the club into massive debt, I can't imagine a totalitarian, human rights ignoring regime being a much better choice.



I wonder when they'll bid to host the World Cup.

Would have thought they wouldnt't have got past the "fit and proper" test the FA makes foreign owners go through. Which would have led to a diplomatic incident and possible suspension of the FA from FIFA for having politics interfere with football!
