Former CIA Officer Arrested

Fri Jan 07, 2011 5:55 am

Oh no not again, why does it always have to be people who served their country with duty and honor and then go far astray from the right path of righteousness. Hail to the FBI, every time a law is broken or an incident occurs regarding a federal law or even a local or state law, howdie boys here come the FBI......just like the old rusky days of the wild wild west, heee comes the calvary boyyss.

Why couldn't this guy keep classified info to himself? He had to know the Govt would come after him for releasing anything classified. You don't fight an organization like the CIA and win, even in the current political climate.

You want to write your memoirs, fine, just go through the vetting process with the CIA.

If found guilty, he'll got to a federal prison. They're not very nice at those places!

money, illusions of grandeur, sex, grudge against someone, all the classic ways to subvert someone have been employed at times by professionals and amateurs alike to turn people.

Given the way the US Gov acts against those who betray their country since 2009, he probably thought he could get away with it.

Remember the story of Robert Hansen, the FBI agent who sold secrets to the KGB and Russian officials illegally, there is a movie called "The Breach," if you havent seen it yet. When he was arrested in February 2001, they were considering the death penalty because he knew so much and was such a threat to national security, but instead they locked him up in a federal prison of hell underground in Colorado, where he is locked up 23 hours a day without any human contact except the prison officers themselves. He is locked at the same prison as Ramsey Yusif the master mind bomber of the first 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
