I don't particularly like the Veyron (far too heavy) but it goes to 400Km/h, this one doesn't, so there is no real comparison. It will be heavy too so I won't like it either.
25Km on electricity means that the V8
will never be used, as that kind of car doesn't make more than a few Km a year. Now, of course, you'll still have to change the batteries regularly, as they age no matter what.
All in all, a bad idea, and nothing green about it. I don't like the Cayenne either, or worse the Cayenne diesel, but at least that makes some sense. An uncle of mine went from a Cayenne Turbo S to the Touareg V10 TDi (when there was no Cayenne diesel) just because he didn't like going to the gas station too often.
