...and it's not for iPhone or Android.
This week Microsoft had their annual MIX conference and showed off some new features coming to Windows Phone later in the year. A big portion of it is improvements to the developer tools and one of the apps they used to show them off was a new app for QF that among all the things you'd expect from an airline app has some really cool new concepts like using the gps to track your location and alert you if your flight is soon and it thinks you might not make it to the airport in time it will pull up standby options for later flights. It's pretty impressive and definitely shows Windows Phone's strengths as a platform and makes me want one more (if Verizon would stop dragging their feet and release one already). I hope other airlines take note and not only jump on WP7 but also add more stuff like this to their apps on other platforms to make them more than just glorified websites.
