Alien Lands In Russia, Did He/she/it Get Lost?

Mon Apr 18, 2011 12:34 pm

According to a Youtube movie, and we all know how reliable they are, an alien has landed in Russia. Unfortunately he/she/it didn't make it alive.

Personally I don't believe in aliens but the video is definitely worth a view. Kudos to the person who made it, it looks quite good.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMGatrWkG2c&feature=player_embedded

I always thought Aliens were an American afair. So the question is, did he get lost? Maybe he didn't have an updated set of Jeppesen charts?

I do have to say that I am a little disappointed in the fact they didn't bring a space cake as a welcome present. I mean it is the least they could have done before slamming into our planet.

Anyway, enough jokes from me, just thought I would share this great little movie.

P.S. If you do believe in aliens please do not be offended by this. Who knows, maybe there is an alien life form out there.

What's wrong with Russia?

It's just as nice a place for an alien to visit as is the USA.

Besides, Stalin was well known for his paranoid conspiracy theories that he used to purge anyone he perceived to be a threat.

So an alien visit would give such paranoids one more thing to consider.
Inspiration, move me brightly!

Sure is a little guy (gal?), isn't it? The alien bodies we (the US) recovered in Roswell, were taller, they were just over 3' (1m) tall.

Oh no no no! Where'd you get that idea? The Russians have been on board for decades.

Aliens sure seem to be prevalent in countries with secret aerospace and defense programs

I just can't wrap my head around the fact that an alien will travel a bazzilion lightyears to get here then crash into a mountain and die. That goes for all the other dead alien videos. lol

You've never had trouble staying awake towards the end of a long, boring trip?

Yes, but we don't have cybernetic implants...

I can hear the conversation on the flying saucer:
"Zork, this flight feels like it's lasting a million years."
"That's because it IS lasting a million years, Thwag!"

Yeah, but I'm rejoiced to be done. I wouldn't just crash through my garage lol

I don't know, that's just my line of thinking. Same with UFO sightings, I assume that aliens want to be seen, or they don't. I don't believe they have the technology to travel across the universe while lacking the technology not to be caught on camera by humans!!!

I see where you're coming from, but that's not really a valid assumption since you're talking about two distinctly different capabilities which in all likelihood would use entirely different technologies. Aliens mastering one discipline that we haven't, interstellar travel, is no indication that they've achieved mastery of every discipline that we haven't such as active invisibility.
Furthermore, who's to say that aliens can see the same range of the light spectrum that we do? For instance, aliens might be able to see infrared and above yet be utterly blind to blue, purple, indigo, and anything below that, in which case they might think their ships are invisible to us, or at least they might not fully understand how our eyes can see right through the invis-o-coating applied to the outside of their ships.

Ohh no American thing, the Republic of Buryatia where our little friend landed is a very beautiful area with great mountains and beautiful valleys, now if he could have landed some weeks later he might have enjoyed the landscape. Unfortunately now there was snow.

If they can travel across space and time to come here, they can probably figure out how to not be seen, at least by staying in orbit. They could drop microscopic probes into the atmosphere. Tons of tricks they could do.

Nobody. But on the long trip here, they would have had ample opportunity to study our TV broadcasts and they could have figured out the human visual spectrum pretty easily.

I realize what you are saying, and I have no real basis for what I say, it just seems like the most logical thing to me. I can personally, and IMO, dismiss most alien/UFO theories in the same way I can dismiss 9/11 theories for example. No real proof, but beyond (what I think) is a reasonable doubt. Like really, could our beloved US government execute 9/11 so brilliantly??? I mean, it's possible, but no, not buying it.

Wow, off track. That all being said, I do believe in extra terrestrial life, and I highly believe it is in our solar systems, but in the form of tiny organisms on comets or on other moons. As far as intelligent life... well... not really convinced that there is.

I see technology as an exponential growth. For thousands of years, we had basically 0 technology, and in the past 150 years or so, it has sky-rocketed. I believe it'll accelerate even faster. So in the grand scheme of things, technology basically occurs out of no where (when, like I said, you look at the grand scheme of things, billions of years the universe has been around.) I believe that we will have the ability to travel the universe in um 500 years, given our incredible technology rate. Like I said, 500 years is nothing for the universe. Where am I going with all this? I basically think that if intelligent life exists out there, they would have found us by now, or the life out there is not intelligent. When the universe is billions of years old, what is the probability of intelligent life out there that is around where we are, and not just a mere 1000 years ahead of us, which I believe they'd be able to find us?

It's confusing, I've never been able to effectively write down what I'm trying to say, and I know there are lots of "what-ifs" and assumptions, but in my mind, that's good enough to say that there probably aren't UFOs on Earth. (And typing all this certainly beats doing this stupid paper and presentation I'm supposed to be doing anyway!   )

Or, perhaps they don't pay any more attention to us and our concerns and interests than we would pay to the concerns and interests of common birds during a nature walk through the woods. I mean we know that crows and mockingbirds are reasonably intelligent creatures but we're not trying to achieve meaningful communication with them even though they're frequently disturbed by our presence, especially if we stray too near their nests.

Maybe he arrived ahead of schedule. A feat human airlines can rarely achieve.

All of that made me think - what if, in 500 years, we set off for some other far, far away place with some ship that will take 350 years to get there, so it is totally self-contained. They get there to find a full blown human civilization with people welcoming them. How? Because another ship was set off 100 years later, but with the exponential increase of technology, the trip only took 20 years - so the second ship's people already had 230 years to settle and develop.
