Sat Apr 23, 2011 3:10 pm

Quote:

John Sullivan, who wrote one of the best-loved British sitcoms, Only Fools and Horses, has died at the age of 64.

He had been in intensive care for six weeks at a hospital in Surrey, battling viral pneumonia.

He also wrote Citizen Smith and Just Good Friends, and the third and final episode of his latest work Rock & Chips will be shown on BBC One on Thursday.

Ironically enough, I am currently watching OFAH on GOLD as I found this.

A huge loss.

May the best comedy writer rest in peace. I didn't realise he had been ill. His latest offering, Rock And Chips is on this Thursday.

OFAH is THE best comedy series EVER. I have the complete series, and it never fails to raise my spirits when I'm down. I always seems to hear something I've previously missed.
