|Quoting TSS (Reply 10):|
Donder (not Donner; to the best of my knowledge none of the reindeer were ever forced to eat their fellow reindeer while snowbound for an entire winter in the Sierra Nevada mountains)
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and call'd them by name:
"Now! Dasher, now! Dancer, now! Prancer and Vixen,
"On! Comet, on! Cupid, on! Donder and Blitzen;
"To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall!
"Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"

Bonus question: What's the name of Rudolph's redneck cousin?
|Quoting MD-90 (Reply 13):|
According to Donder.com the very first edition of the poem called the last two reindeer Dunder and Blixem.
Personally I prefer Donner because that then makes them Thunder and Lightning.
