Have you shopped the exotic car rental places? Many of their cars are manuals so maybe....
|Quoting falstaff (Reply 2):|
Manual trannys also can open the car up to more abuse than even a typical rental car sees.

because we really do have a cowboy mentality when it comes to driving?
|Quoting falstaff (Reply 6):|
Give a gearhead a sports car with a manual and you will get some abuse, especially when they don't own the car. The gearheads I know will go through a clutch and tires in no time. The teens I work with will tear them up to and it has nothing to do with the fact they don't drive a manual, its more of a problem they know it too well.

P.S. Erick...............You ever been to Miami before ? That $1,800 rental fee............better factor in another 2K or so for a couple of armed guards, or you're likely gonna be spending much of your vacation explaining to the rental outfit where their Beemer went !
