Future Amtrak Service To The Tide Water Area?

Tue Feb 28, 2012 4:34 am

Amtrak, is now building a new station in Norfolk VA, on NS tracks. Now for years, Newport News was where you catch an Amtrak train in the Tide Water. With this new station being built in Norfolk, what will happen to train service to Newport News?

Probably nothing. There are more than enough stops along that line to justify maintaining service. This new line will allow other SE VA cities to enjoy the benefit of rail now.
Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.
