Norwegian World War II hero Soensteby dies at 94
OSLO, Norway — Gunnar Soensteby, a World War II resistance fighter who earned Norway's highest military decoration for daring raids against the Nazis, has died. He was 94.
The Norwegian sabotage group he was a member of carried out spectacular sabotage raids against factories, railroads and fuel supplies to hamper the German war effort.

Mr. Sønsteby was awarded with numourous Norwegian awards in adittion to awards from USA and UK for his bravery. He was a fantastic inspiration for the people of Norway. Both young and old.
