This is kind of related but might be a little off topic..
Maybe there is an "Apple is cool" or somehow more attractive than other equipment factor at play!
I work in an organisation that has probably 2000 PC
type machines, at my location there is probaly more than 800 office computers and related devices, there are 3 Apple products I know of**, one iPad that does sterling service mounted on the wall of our large break room and has the sole function of acting as a remote control and channel selector for the AV
system installed there (a perfect device for the role and I wish iPads or similar were around when I was in the corporate AV
The other two large screen iMacs are at the reception desk, they don't do anything special, the receptionists greet visitors, issue visitor badges, act nice the usual stuff and use the same Citrix based applications the rest of us do.. they just have these cool looking things on their desk.(oh the night security guard watches YouTube on them, the actual security camera stuff displays on a large TV
The rest of the (desktop) business runs on Windows PCs mostly Dell & HP
I mentioned this to friend who runs an Apple support business and he told me about a customer of his with similar vendor ratios that were filming promotional material and their marketing people directed the film crew to only shoot the Apple equip because "it looks cooler"
So despite what some say the stuff just looks better.. perhaps!
** 4 actually, I almost forgot the iPad tethered to a desk in the break room in case a workforce that spends all day looking at computer screens almost all with their own smartphones feel the urge to surf the web or check FB
during their breaks..almost no one does!!
If your camera sends text messages, that could explain why your photos are rubbish!
