Should Facebook Get A "Face Force One"?

Thu May 17, 2012 4:03 am

So I've been hearing a lot of buzz over the last few months about Facebook and its much anticipated IPO...aparantly their value could be as high as $100 billion. Naturally I became curious to find out whether Mark Zuckerberg had bothered to get a private jet. The following article shows that he spent about $700 000 last year chartering.

Facebook's IPO is being launched on Friday. If their estimates are correct, and they end up with a few extra billion, does anyone think they should get a corporate jet? And if so curious to hear some of the suggestions...

Well, with an impending IPO, they need to be accountable for capital spend like any other listed company. If there is a need for it, and it can be demonstrated, then yes, they should get a jet.

If Zuckerberg spent $700K on genuine business travel in a year, then I would suggest the company probably needs one.

I could totally see Zuckerberg going for a 787 BBJ or perhaps an A380...it's not like he's going to be hard up for cash!

He needs a C-17, so that they can post a small version of every ones profile picture on the side of it, and have room for all the future members.
