Well, if I must: she's a has been. She had a good thing going on until Freaky Friday. After that, I consider that her career as an actress and as a singer has gone down the drain.
Check out: A Prairie Home Companion (dir. Robert Altman), a very good ensemble production. LiLo held it together for that one and I for one, possibly being fooled, think she can act. But more below.

Lindsay is what I call a successful failure in her current phase of her career. She is successful because she has a good lawyer and she can get away with things (and knows it), she can do things (crime) without consequence, she has been and most likely is still a hard and fast living person and has a grandiose sense of herself, (she says she deserves Oscars and will earn them).
Agreed. LiLo to me displays a lot of narcissistic behaviours, basically "Look at me, look at me" type things - drugs, public drunkeness, over the top statements about herself, and so on. Not saying she has to be perfect, and all of us can/should look in the mirror from time to time and ask if we have ever done similar.
That said, she has displayed streaks of acting talent (Mean Girls and Prairie Home Companion standing out, to me) so she should be able to continue to land parts. I don't think she has the stones to carry a movie, but if she can get squared away mentally that there is a life being a supporting actress (Diane Wiest comes to mind, 2 Oscars) then she can still salvage her career and/or life.
Forget about being a cover girl and/or full-time model, face looks fairly worn at 25. What living hard will do to you. Reminds me of a line a friend told me, who attended the Gretzky/Jones wedding many moons ago: "she's got a lot of miles on her".
If she can't get a grip on her behaviour then I think a Whitney Houston end might be in store.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
