New Rail Line For BRU

Fri Jun 08, 2012 9:37 pm

As part of an effort to make BRU more promenant amongst European hubs, King Albert today opened the first phase of a through rail link that will allow trains to run e.g. Cologne-BRU-Brussels like at AMS, CDG and FRA.

Hi!

That's cool to read. Thanks. Would love to visit Brussels airport sometime but fares are just so expensive flying from the UK. Maybe I'll get in my car one day and drive there!

Many thanks,

Pierre

I guess it's the EU Institutions that drive up fares, because I was looking for September, and the best I could find was around 300€!

Brussels is a very underrated city, but it is kind of dirty, and when it is hot, it can be rather unpleasant.

Try the Eurostar. I think I might pop over to London for a day when I am done with my conference.
