Basically, the top court has dissolved Parliament and with no government, the military is ruling once again. Many seem to believe that the generals want a continuation of the Mubarak era in some form or another by giving one of Mubarak's government members (he was a minister and then appointed Prime Minister by Mubarak before he departed) a chance at the presidency.
In my opinion, this will only create more tensions between the Egyptians. Whether the Muslim Brotherhood is radical or not, the Egyptians went to the booths and cast their votes. The actions that the military and high court officials have taken are the same actions that Mubarak took and led to his downfall.
Could it be possible that a civil war can break out? if the military is not willing to recognize the will of the people, then who can the people trust to govern them?
