Well, I ended up grabbing the 64GB AT
&T version. Then... 2 days later I bought another 64GB AT
&T version for myself! I actually had taken the wife to Best Buy to pick up a Bluetooth keyboard that her friend recommended. While in the store, they had a 64GB AT
&T model for $100 off (upon scanning the barcode it became evident that they intended only a $25 discount, but gave me the $100 off anyway).
Having owned mine for ~5 days, I actually am not using it as much as I thought/hoped, but will keep it for travel purposes! Perhaps with time I'll grow into using it more often. It's not quite as "graceful" a device as I had hoped, but it's nice to have.
If anyone has advice on the most useful apps, I am all ears.
The first "batch" of apps I picked up consisted of:
TripAdvisor, TRVL (magazine), Economist (magazine), Google Earth, Weather+, NightStand, Food Network (iPhone app), ebay, WolframAlpha, Urbanspoon, Marriott, Google Chrome (still have Safari and may revert to it).
