Google's An ISP: Google Fiber Launched Today

Ok, anybody in Kansas City here going to try this out? $70 for gigabit internet each way? I'm hoping this spurs on some radical changes in U.S. / North America internet capabilities.
The above post is my opinion. Don't like it? Don't read it.

I really hope this catches on and spreads to more cities. The service looks awesome and the price is more than reasonable. Hell, one of their plans is even free.

I'd say most of what Google does ends up catching on. They really seem to be diversifying what they do. I know fiber was the way of the future, I just didn't know how long before it caught on. I'm glad Google picked up on it... they're a good company
Ironically I have never flown a Delta MD-90 :)

Extremely jealous of KC. Wish Google would move it west a hundred miles to MHK and give Cox and AT&T some competition.
