Question About Portugal

Howdy ya'll, first congrats to Mr Obama being re-elected. Ok.
Umm, I saw an interesting air to ground photo taken by Vladimir Korobkov and was wondering what is that major structure crossing an interstate and a subdivision.
Here's the photo (link only, for I didnt want to post the photo without permission)
I wonder if that an old aqueduct or was it built in more recent days. Is all, Thanks for any info. Cheers.
