Purple States, Not Red States And Blue States

Thu Nov 08, 2012 9:27 pm

Interesting when you shade the color based on each state's percentage, not electoral college votes.
Inspiration, move me brightly! Light the song with sense and color.
Hold away despair, more than this I will not ask.
Faced with mysteries dark and vast, statements just seem vain at last.
Some rise, some fall, some climb, to get to Terrapin!

I figured UT would be the most red state. Interesting map! I knew the states were pretty close, but not that close. I'm waiting to see the maps that show every individual counties (either full red or full blue.) That also illustrates an interesting point... the country is mostly a sea of sparsely populated red with little, densely populated islands of blue...
Ironically I have never flown a Delta MD-90 :)
