A Down Under Darwin Award Nominee?

Sun Nov 18, 2012 11:53 am

Ever had a skinful and done something stupid, a bit dangerous?
This Australian man thought he'd round off his drinking session by invading the personal space of a huge great Croc called 'Fatso'.......

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/10611973

Hopefully the video link will work so you'll see that 'drunk' actually means toothless alcoholic.

(And I thought it odd once, when I saw a sign in the Florida Everglades saying 'Do Not Feed Or Harass The Alligators').

EDIT. Just noticed this is from 2010, for some reason it came on the BBC News homepage today, sorry if it's been posted about before.

Give him time, I'm sure he'll do something even stupider in the future.

Dead or unable to reproduce/ so anything dumb that makes you sterile is also a Darwin award. The point is getting the fool out of the gene pool.

Do you have a valid source, not using Wiki, to back that claim up?

A lot. One can edit it and put in incorrect crap in it.

From the Darwin awards website.

Quote:
The prime tenet of the Darwin Awards is that we are celebrating the self-removal of incompetent genetic material from the human race. Therefore, the potential winner must be deceased, or at least incapable of reproducing. The traditional method is death. However, an occasional rebel opts for sterilization, which allows her more time to enjoy the dubious notoriety of winning a Darwin Award.

I'm a retard..... WTF?!    I didn't even look at the link nor did I click it. I was distracted at the Wiki argument.

My apologies, I deserve to be flamed. Jesus, I need to READ.

Sorry.
