Tomorrowland 2013

Mon Feb 18, 2013 7:57 pm

Hey guys!

Did somebody of you get lucky and got tickets for the 2013 Tomorrowland festival ? Also, where do you think is the today announced september Tomorrowland gonna be ? Given the time of the year, I guess it won't be in Europe. Brasil or Miami are my top guesses.

For those who have never heard of it before, here is a link to the most awesome video on youtube:

Well the teaser video shows a message in a bottle in the water, so (and I may be reading too much into it) they may be crossing the ocean to North or South America.

Brazil is a safe bet in my opinion. It will be perfect festival temperature there, and Brazil is getting more popular as an EDM destination. I can't wait to see how huge the ASOT 600 show is there in Sao Paulo in a couple weeks

I don't see Miami as being a candidate. Everyone associates Miami with Ultra, so would Tomorrowland want to jump in there, even if it's at opposite ends of the season?

Other potential cities are Mexico City, San Francisco, and (according to my European acquaintances) Madrid. Although I highly doubt it will be another European city.

You might be disappointed

But if that was the second Tomorrowland, it would be the most cliché thing. Ever. I hope it's somewhere really unexpected...like Toronto

North America would work for me, too. There are worse ways to start your study abroad program than with a giant 5 days party

I did get tickets but only because I paid for the global journey package. You pay a huge premium for it, but excited to go nonetheless.

Yes!

I got lucky and scored 4 tickets for friday. I got them in the pre-sale for belgians only.
Last year I spent a whole day in front of my laptop, without any luck, so I'm very excited about getting in this year.
Ebay and hebbes.be are already selling black market tickets, some of them ask as much as 6000Euros for two
full madness passes. Complete insanity.

line-up for friday: Tiësto, Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, ... not to baf if you ask me.

See you there.

(the challenge is to wear an outfit crazy enough to make an appearance in the official video)

Lots of Canadian talent on the Friday too! Dzeko & Torres, Autoerotique, and Datsik

I personally feel that Saturday is the best line-up. There's not a single DJ there that I wouldn't pay buckets of cash to see individually.

They're getting pretty ridiculous. You're best bet is probably to just have the biggest flag possible.

I'm not going this year, but it is in my plans to do it sometime.
It is a madness up there!
With all the publicity that Brazil is getting lately, I think that it can be down there.
Studying hard, for flying right!
