City Employees Told To Bring Toilet Paper To Work

Wed Mar 20, 2013 1:09 pm

Hmm, this seems to be the opposite of the case where employers use locking dispensers to prevent their employees from stealing the toilet paper:

Quote:

Mayor Brown said that the issue has been resolved and the male employees now have city supplied toilet paper at the office adding, "Ultimately this was an embarrassing mistake…We can't see any logical reason why would they be told that they can't have toilet paper at their workplace, regardless of budgetary concerns.” The mayor would not comment about whether he would pursue any disciplinary action.

Mayor Brown, you say?

Not sure why the edict would only have applied to the males, though...

So the Paperless Office is finally here!

Incidentally you would be wise to carry your own in most Asian countries, especially China...

There was just a TV news story about a Swiss city where public servant had to clean their own office, take out the trash etc. !

As for toilet paper, do people steal even the huge rolls you can find in public toilets ? Can't there be a key on the thing ?

No, that's very odd. Blatant discrimination.

Thankfully I am as regular as clockwork: I never have do number 2's at work. Perish the thought

I hear you. It is certainly to be avoided.
