I like how Microsoft is singled out for this despite the fact that they probably had zero choice in the matter and basically every other company probably did the same thing.

Since Telcos apparently charge the US Government for wiretaps, can we assume that Microsoft will be doing the same when granting access to encrypted data?

If you want secure communications got to use one time pads.

There is a reason the Kremlin just put ouT a big RFP for typewriters.
